Cada proyecto fue creado y desarollado en el marco de los Laboratorios Comunes de Creación que tienen el propósito de generar espacios para la creación desde el trabajo interdisciplinar y el intercambio de saberes, a través de herramientas del arte visual contemporáneo. Tuvo lugar en las 16 comunas y 5 corregimientos de la ciudad. Para la RAV durante 2013-2014, diseñé y desarrollé diversos proyectos participativos y de creación, en colaboración con diferentes artistas locales, nacionales e internacionales. Experimental laboratories for the Visual Arts&nbsp;Network program of the Ministry of Culture of the Mayor’s office of Medellín, in agreement with the Casa Tres Patios Foundation. Each project was created and developed within the framework of the Common Creation Laboratories that have the purpose of generate spaces for creation from interdisciplinary work and knowledge exchange, through tools from contemporary visual art. It took place in the 16 comunas and 5 counties of the city. El desarrollo del vestuario, la indumentaria y el diseño textil, siempre han estado conectados con expresiones sociales y sucesos efímeros o permanentes en la sociedad, es por esto que busco conectar diferentes disciplinas con el proceso de investigación que implica la creación del vestuario, además &nbsp;emplear esta metodología en otros entornos laborales en los que participo. De igual manera aplico aprendizajes obtenidos en estas experiencias en el desarrollo de proyectos relacionados con el vestuario. He abordado proyectos de vestuario desde referentes conceptuales que indirecta o directamente abarcan temáticas que van desde los estudios culturales y el arte, de una forma más evidente y experimental. Así mismo creo que en los procesos de creación artística o de intervención con comunidades específicas, el vestuario puede emplearse como una herramienta metodológica que acoge otras temáticas o estrategias para expresar memorias colectivas, individuales o reflexionar sobre sucesos importantes dentro de cada contexto.Me interesa la experimentación textil, los diferentes usos e intervenciones que pueden surgir de esta: creación de texturas, tejidos, estampación o intervención manual, desde los bordados o diferentes formas de apliques en el textil como medio de expresión.<img width="2550" investigación y experimento pedagógico, de auto-construcción de utopías espaciales (espacios efímeros). Un ecenario para imaginar en colectivo, donde sea posible reflexionar,&nbsp;debatir y&nbsp;jugar. Propone la apropiación y producción de conocimiento desde el intercambio de saberes en los procesos de (de)construcción y otros modos de creación.Liderado por el colectivo La Carnicería, se realizó desde febrero hasta octubre de&nbsp;2016 en el espacio cultural El Hormiguero, ubicado en la vereda El Pedregal de Itagüí, el cual es un municipio conurbado con la ciudad de Medellín - Colombia. El proyecto parte de la idea de construcción que cada participante posee, es decir, aunque en el proceso se ensamblen diferentes materiales para construir en colectivo un espacio/objecto, también se generan otras formas de construcción no sólo material, como el diálogo de saberes, en debates o reflexiones sobre temas de interés común. Su desarrollo metodológico está basado en la noción de&nbsp;convite, que en Colombia es también entendida como aquellas reuniones donde a cambio de comida, las personas en contextos principalmente periféricos, construyen sus casas desde el trabajo colaborativo. La construcción de las viviendas de manera colectiva alberga en el convite una manera de festejar el barrio/el territorio y compartir el esfuerzo requerido. Por lo tanto, dentro del proyecto cualquier persona es importante, su labor, sabiduría y presencia son primordiales, el que hace como el que observa se nutren del proceso.-CONTINENTE is a research project and pedagogical experiment of self-construction of spatial utopias (ephemeral spaces). A scenario to collectively imagine, where it is possible to reflect, debate and play. It proposes the appropriation and production of knowledge through the emerging exchanges in the processes of (de)construction and other modes of creation. Led by the La Carnicería collective, it was held from February to October 2016 in El Hormiguero cultural space, located in the district El Pedregal, Itagüí which is a municipality conurbed with the city of Medellín - Colombia. The project is based on the idea of construction that each participant possesses, that is, although different materials are assembled in the process to collectively build a space/object, other forms of construction not only material are generated, such as the dialogue of knowledge in debates or reflections where&nbsp;disagreements meet, and encounters of common interest as well. Its methodological development is based on the notion of convite, which in Colombia is also understood as meetings where in exchange for food, people in mainly peripheral contexts, build their homes from collaborative work. The collective construction of houses shelters in the convite a way to celebrate neighborhood/territory and share the effort required. Therefore, within the project anyone is important, their work, wisdom and presence are paramount, the one who does as the observer feeds on the process. Continente centra su interés en las metodologías surgidas de la contrucción en los convites; no solamente en la transmisión de conocimientos técnicos y el uso de materiales reciclados, sino en la formulación de relaciones sociales igualitarias, en la posibilidad de pensar el presente como un ideal posible y el futuro como una utopía alcanzable. Por consiguiente, el proyecto infiere en la importancia de concebir momentos en donde se unen lazos y se abren cuestionamientos, además de buscar la consolidación de metodologías alrededor de los diversos procesos de construcción, ya sea en el ejercicio mismo de construir un espacio, o promover el trabajo colaborativo a través de otras prácticas artísticas. De esta forma, acoge diferentes perspectivas de la creatividad, las cuales surgen a partir de las estrategias del hacer que cada individuo comparte, ya sea desde su disciplina o su apreciación personal sobre lo que (de)construye, imagina o desea.Desde la lúdica de la práctica creativa, Continente permite reimaginar sistemas de construcción materiales y simbólicas, proponer otras formas de trabajo colectivo, y por consiguiente, imaginar un presente en cambio y un futuro posible para el entorno cercano y la ciudad. - Continent focuses its interest on methodologies arising from construction within the convites; not only in the transmission of technical knowledge and the use of recycled materials, but in the formulation of egalitarian social relations, in the possibility of thinking of the present as a possible ideal and the future as an attainable utopia. The project infers on the importance of conceiving situations where bonds and questions are opened, in addition to seeking the consolidation of methods around various construction processes, either in the exercise of building a space/object, or exerting collaborative work through other art practices. Una pieza pensada para el mirador del parque del barrio Santo Domingo Savio, Medellín, que pretende dialogar con los transeúntes desprevenidos y por supuesto hacer visible la manera como se nutren, habitan, comunican y han surgido tanto las construcciones hegemónicas como las llamadas arquitecturas expandidas.Evidencia como se construye de manera silenciosa y nocturna a manera de panal, la mayoría de las construcciones informales en Medellín, y cómo esa noción de “informal” ha sido el origen de la mayoría de &nbsp;barrios y edificaciones de la ciudad. A piece thought for the viewpoint of the Santo Domingo Savio neighborhood park, Medellín, which intends to dialogue with unsuspecting passers-by, and of course make visible the way both hegemonic constructions and the so-calledexpanded architectures, nurture, inhabit, communicate and have emerged. El cuerpo como portador de significados, como medio para especular, imaginar y comunicar, y como productor de conocimiento. El espacio como lugar y sustancia que habitan los cuerpos, donde confluyen relaciones abiertas e ilimitadas entre sí. El proyecto se desarrolló en colaboración con la artista Verónica Agudelo, junto a grupos de niños y adolescentes de 7 comunas de Medellín. Transformaciones Imaginarias reflexiona sobre cuatro ejes temáticos, explorados a través de ejercicios prácticos y las reflexiones surgidas en cada contexto. Imaginary Transformations explored the symbolic forms of the relationship between body and space. The body as a carrier of meaning, as a medium for speculation, imagination, and communication, and as a producer of knowledge. Space as the place and substance that bodies inhabit, where open and unlimited relationships converge. The project was developed in collaboration with artist Verónica Agudelo, working with groups of children and adolescents from 7 comunas (districts) in Medellín. El vestuario propone posibilidades metodológicas como objeto de significación de los sujetos: parte de cada individuo que habita el espacio, de sentirse espacio y habitarlo de otra manera. Se construye desde referentes conceptuales que abarcan lo antropológico, cultural, artístico y cotidiano: una relación constante entre diferentes conocimientos que se expresa de forma más evidente y experimental. A través de ejercicios corporales, exploración de materiales, y la expresión de sueños, miedos, ideas e imágenes internas, este proceso de creación colectiva se traduce en imágenes corporales cargadas de sentido simbólico. En este proyecto, el vestuario y la indumentaria se proponen como medios de generación de imágenes, como imagen en sí misma y como cuerpo imaginario. A través del uso del material textil en relación con actividades y estrategias que dialogan constantemente con el movimiento y el cuerpo, el vestuario participa como máscara, como medio de apropiación de la imagen individual, actual o soñada: cómo nos vemos, cómo nos pensamos, cómo nos sentimos. Es, en este caso, la imagen del subconsciente - el sujeto. &nbsp; Methodological possibilities of clothing Clothing and textile materials -fabric- are architecture built to cover the body, to add structure to it, to transform, alter, and replace it; a medium for the representation and transmission of ideas and thoughts. Through costume, methodological possibilities emerge as objects of meaning, starting from each individual who inhabits space, from the act of feeling like part of it and inhabiting it differently. It is constructed from conceptual references spanning the anthropological, cultural, artistic, and everyday; a constant relationship between different forms of knowledge, expressed in an increasingly evident and experimental way. Bodily exercises, material exploration, and the expression of dreams, fears, ideas, and inner images come together in a collective process of creation that translates into bodily images charged with symbolic meaning. In this project, costume and clothing are proposed as means of generating images, as image itself, and as imaginary body. Through the use of textile materials in relation to activities and strategies that constantly engage with movement and the body, costume participates as a mask, as a means of claiming the individual image, current or dreamed: how we see ourselves, how we think about ourselves, how we feel. La imagen como construcción sensorial: sentir, oler, tocar, ver para crear. A través de la metodología de "muestra y cuenta", cada individuo expone lo realizado, lo pensado, lo imaginado, visibilizando estéticas del conocimiento. Las imágenes van más allá del proceso y se convierten en puntos de encuentro entre autorretratos y auto-representaciones, como cruces entre sujeto, imagen y contexto. ¿Por qué la cara? ¿Una política de identidad? Transformarnos en lo que nos rodea. Identity politics: modes and poetics of the individual image Through the contemplation, reproduction, and appropriation of the personal image, reflections emerge on the context each individual inhabits. Image as sensory construction: feeling, smelling, touching, seeing in order to create. Through a "show and tell" methodology, each individual shares what they made, thought, and imagined, making aesthetics of knowledge visible. The images go beyond documenting a process and become meeting points between self-portraits and self-representations, as intersections of the relationship between subject, image, and context. Why the face? Is it a politics of identity? El cuerpo como escenario teatral que representa lo que ve y lo que vive: una devoción al movimiento y a la transformación como formas de conocimiento. A través de la lúdica mediada por el cuerpo y las ideas, el proyecto propone el juego y la exploración física como medios genuinos de reflexión y creación, no como actividades secundarias sino como el centro mismo del proceso. Se experimenta sobre la relación entre el ser humano y el espacio desde la experiencia físico-espacial: sentir el propio cuerpo en relación con el entorno, con los otros, con las cosas que nos rodean. La pregunta que orienta este eje es profundamente personal: comenzar por uno mismo, como persona y como cuerpo, mi relación con los demás, con las cosas que me rodean y mi posición en ese vacío espacial. Desde ahí surge la pregunta por la alteridad -la capacidad de ser otro- y cómo la noción de identidad corporal se construye y transforma de manera distinta en cada contexto, en cada cuerpo, en cada comunidad. Alterity and bodily practices It begins with the recognition of the body through its movement, its capacity to alter itself, reconstruct, and imitate. The body as a theatrical stage that performs what it sees and what it lives: a devotion to movement and transformation as genuine forms of knowledge. Through play mediated by body and intellect, the project proposes physical exploration and the ludic not as secondary activities but as the very center of the creative and reflective process. It experiments with the relationship between human beings and space through physical-spatial experience: feeling one's own body in relation to the environment, to others, to the things that surround us. The guiding question is deeply personal: to begin with oneself, as a person and as a body, my relationship with others, with the things around me, and my position in that spatial void. Este eje sitúa al sujeto -cada participante, cada cuerpo presente en el proceso- en el centro de la experiencia. Las temáticas se desarrollan desde un punto creativo activo, alejándose de una aproximación técnica al arte donde el proceso es simplemente un medio para llegar a un resultado predeterminado. En cambio, el proyecto invitó a cada participante a traer su propio mundo interior: sus miedos, sus sueños, cómo se ven a sí mismos, cómo habitan su cuerpo y su comunidad. El resultado estético no es impuesto ni orientado hacia un destino fijo, emerge de la experiencia y la expresión de cada persona. Las vivencias a lo largo del proyecto — los movimientos, los vestuarios, las imágenes, las reflexiones — se convierten en configuraciones de subjetividad individual y colectiva. Cada acto de creación lleva consigo una manera de ver, de sentir y de posicionarse en el mundo. En este sentido, lo estético y lo político no están separados: expresar, imaginar y transformarse a través del cuerpo es también una forma de existir y afirmarse dentro de un contexto. Éstas son las transformaciones imaginarias. Significance of the subjects in the experience (subjectivities) "Aesthetic acts as configurations of experience, which give rise to new ways of feeling and induce new forms of political subjectivity."1This axis places the subject -participant, each body present in the process- at the center of the experience. The themes are developed from an active creative standpoint, moving away from a purely technical approach to art-making where the process is simply a means to a predetermined result. Instead, the project invites each participant to bring their own inner world into the work: their fears, their dreams, how they see themselves, how they inhabit their body and their community. The aesthetic result is not imposed or guided toward a fixed outcome, it emerges from each person's own experience and expression. The experiences lived throughout the project -the movements, the costumes, the images, the reflections- become configurations of individual and collective subjectivity. Each act of creation carries within it a way of seeing, feeling, and positioning oneself in the world.
